Apache Localhost Not Found

In windows/system32/driver I added this to the file 127.0.0.1 drw.localhost. When I visit drw.localhost in the browser, it loads the default page but when I tried to visit other pages, it always returned. Verify that Apache is starting without errors by checking the Apache log Check that Apache is listening on port 80 with netstat -bn (use the n flag so you can see the port number rather than a description) Verify that it's definitely not a firewall by turning it off briefly and seeing if that solves the problem.

I'm having a terrible time tryin to get this xampp to work. So far I have deleted all my sql related programs. I have uninstalled xampp. I have run a registry cleaner.I reboot the PC. I have reinstalled xampp. I have configured Apache to run on port 90. I have done this about 7 times. Each time I get a different control panel display.

Bad Request (Invalid Hostname) in apache localhost. But I am not getting a server not found like I would think that I would see if it was a problem with apache.
This is done by editing the httpd-vhosts.conf file of the Apache server, which can be found here: C: Bitnami wampstack-7.1.14-0 apache2 conf extra httpd-vhosts.conf For example, localhost should point to the htdocs folder and I want lsapp.local to point to a specific folder inside htdocs called lsapp/public.

I dont know how, but finally I think I have it running
The control panel loads with Apache and mysql showing green ticks's and the buttons showing the Stop click event.
Filezilla has a green tick and shows a Start button click event.
Murcury has a blank box and a Start button click event.
Tomcat has a red X and a start button click event.

I'm now at the stage where I need to load the localhost, unfortunately, all I get is

Localhost Is Not Working

HTTP 404 not found.

I have spent over three days of my life trying to get this to work.
