Here is our complete demo and review of the new Pioneer DDJ 400 Rekordbox controller. Could this be one of the best controllers for beginner DJs? Unable to connect DDJ 400 with Mac Hi there, I purchased a DDJ 400 yesterday and when I tried to connect it to my laptop (MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5) using the USB cable provided in the original packaging, nothing happened.
- DDJ-400 driver 1 year ago You don't have to install extra driver software. Windows/mac OS standard audio driver will be automatically installed when DDJ-400 is connected to your Mac/PC with a USB cable.
- Yes!Rekordbox 6 runs fine on the M1 Macs, and so will the DDJ-400, as it is class-compliant & doesn’t need drivers. Myself, I’m currently running a DDJ-FLX6 x DDJ-XP1 tandem on my M1 MBP. Both of them are also class-compliant. Btw, congratulations on getting the M1 MBP, you’ll love it.
- The DDJ-400 is the ideal piece of gear for first-time DJs. Its controls enable you to easily learn the basics, plus it's packed with features that will help you develop your skills. The controller is compatible with the new Tutorial feature in rekordbox dj, which explains basic equipment operation step by step.
